Situation
Leakage of pig trap isolation valves
Sakhalin Energy Investment Company (SEIC) is a JV between Gazprom, Shell, Mitsui and Mitsubishi. Their Onshore Processing Facility receives gas and after processing it pumps the gas to the southern part of the island via a large diameter pipeline system.

In order to safely open the pig traps for installing and removing intelligent pigs for internal pipeline inspections, the isolation valves should be tight. However, SEIC experiences various passing rates to both 1st and 2nd block valves, and called Valvetight for assistance.
Trial run of DBB-SAVER performance against the experienced heavy passing rate has been sucessfully performed in May 2019. The actual jobs of safely loading the pigs are planned for the second half of 2019.
